This Cookie Policy explains how the website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels), in accordance with art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) of 10 June 2021. The data controller is COLINE di Agheorghiesei Alexandra (Best Luxury Events), Via Medaglie d'Oro 70, 48018 Faenza (RA), Italy, [email protected].
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts) work in a comparable way. They may be "first-party" (set by our website) or "third-party" (set by other services), and "session" (deleted when you close the browser) or "persistent".
2. Types of cookies
Technical cookies (no consent required)
They are strictly necessary to operate the website and provide the services you request: navigation and session management, security, remembering your language, logging in to the members area, the shopping cart and payment, the booking calendar, the AI chat session and storing your cookie choices. Under art. 122(1) of the Privacy Code they do not require consent. You can block them in your browser, but some parts of the website may not work.
Analytics cookies
They collect information on how the website is used, to improve it. First-party analytics tools that only produce aggregated statistics and mask the IP address are treated like technical cookies under the Garante Guidelines. Third-party analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) are used only with your consent. [At present no analytics cookies are used.]
Profiling and marketing cookies
They are used to build profiles and show you advertising in line with your interests, including on other websites and social networks (e.g. Meta Pixel). They are installed only with your prior consent. [At present no profiling cookies are used.]
3. Cookies and similar technologies used
- Session and security (technical, first-party / HighLevel-LeadConnector platform): manage the browsing session, forms and protection against abuse. Duration: session to 12 months.
- Language preference (technical, local storage): remembers the language you selected. Duration: until deleted by you.
- Cookie consent (technical): stores your choices on the banner so that it is not shown again. Duration: 6 months.
- Members area login (technical): keeps you logged in. Duration: session / as set by the platform.
- Payment (technical, Stripe): fraud prevention and secure checkout. Duration: up to 12 months.
- AI chat (technical, local or session storage): keeps the conversation with "Roberta" open while you browse. Duration: session / [7 days].
- Booking calendar and embedded video (technical or third-party): the calendar widget and any embedded video players may set cookies needed for their operation; embedded content that sets non-technical cookies is loaded only after consent.
- Google Fonts: fonts loaded from Google servers do not set cookies but transmit your IP address to Google. [OWNER: self-hosting the fonts is recommended.]
- Future, only with consent: Google Analytics (analytics, third-party, e.g. _ga, up to 2 years) and Meta Pixel (marketing, third-party, e.g. _fbp, 3 months).
[OWNER TO UPDATE this list with the exact names and durations shown by the cookie banner tool after installation.]
4. How we ask for consent
On your first visit a banner informs you about cookies and lets you:
- Accept all cookies;
- Reject all non-technical cookies, with a button as visible as the accept button; closing the banner with the "X" has the same effect as rejecting;
- Customise your choices by category.
Continuing to scroll does not constitute consent. Until you make a choice, only technical cookies are used. Your choice is stored for 6 months; the banner is shown again only after that period, if the cookies used change significantly, or if it is impossible to know whether a choice was already made.
5. How to change or withdraw consent
You can change your choices or withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others provide instructions in their help pages).
6. Third parties and your rights
Third-party cookies are governed by the privacy policies of the respective providers (HighLevel/LeadConnector, Stripe, Google, Meta). For data transfers outside the EU, your rights and how to contact the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, see our Privacy Policy.
